CloudRent has just completed development of its Shopify App, CloudRent Click. Shopify is a platform that helps merchants begin to sell online, and it offers certain tools to start shops online, as well as accept payments.
The App turns a Shopify E-Commerce store into a Rental Store with Google GeoCode address checking, and the ability to take a deposit off hirers.
"We didn't want people to try and rent items from halfway around the world," says CEO Ron Neville. Before a user is allowed to book inventory, they must check if their address is in the correct zone.
The owner of the store sets a kilometre limit radius to define their service area. Google checks to ensure the address is within the service area.
Another important feature of the app is the ability to take a deposit at the checkout. The balance is then scheduled to be due at a date closer to the event booking.
Other features include minimum and maximum rental periods, blackout days for special dates, various price models for different inventory types, preset deposit parameters etc.
